Oprah's Diet Plan

Just about everyone has heard of Oprah Winfrey, and how she rose from humble beginnings to become the talk-show host extraoRDInaire that we know and love. As we’ve watched Oprah over the years, we’ve all known about her struggles with weight. Oprah’s personal trainer, Bob Greene helped Oprah get healthy, and at just over 50 Oprah looks better than ever. Bob Greene’s book “Get With the Program” encourages people to make fitness and exercise a part of their lifestyle before they begin to drastically change their eating habits.

The program has 5 rules that participants must follow in order to help them loose weight.
  • Curb emotional eating

  • Eat breakfast every day.

  • Establish an eating cut-off time.

  • Drink lots of water.

  • Limit alcohol.


His plan is to give you enough calories to make it possible for you to exercise intensely, but to eliminate the calories that would otherwise be stored as fat.

Greene’s passion for healthy eating and exercise is heart-felt and can be very moving. He helps people deal with their emotions regaRDIng food so that they can make the necessary lifestyle changes to become healthier. Greene’s diet emphasizes eating only when you are hungry, and then you must only eat healthy foods. Greene wants to help change the way that people feel about food. Greene believes that we must develop three emotional and mental cornerstones: willingness, responsibility, and commitment.

    • Lengthy process.
